The Writers’ Loft

Free Writing Coworking Sessions

mondays and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. CT

Maybe you’ve had a hard time lately getting to your writing...what with all that’s pulling at you— from home or work or what’s going on in the world right now.

Or maybe you’re up against the regular resistance that doing creative work sometimes brings up. Or maybe you’ve been feeling a lack of connection and isolation that doing creative work can sometimes bring, and it’s been draining your energy.

If any of this sounds familiar, I invite you join me in this free writing group co-working space.

During this time, we write together. It’s surprisingly simple and powerful. The space I hold helps you set aside time and create a shared commitment to work on your writing project.

What kind of writing? And what If you don’t have a writing project?

Writing includes anything - big or small. A poem, a blog post, your memoir— anything that feels fun!

If you don’t have a project to work on, that’s ok too. Because at the beginning of each session, I’ll offer a writing prompt or doorway that you can respond to. It’ll be a great jumping off point if you just want to spend time writing but don’t have a specific thing you want to work on.

Either way, you’ll be able to enjoy time doing the thing you love doing. And who knows? You may just discover the threads of something bigger you want to keep writing about.

Session Format

Here’s how each session will work:

  • Each session is 1-hour:

    • 5 minutes of arrival and intention-setting

    • 50 minutes of quiet, cameras off writing

    • 5 minutes of connection and well wishes

I offer these sessions twice a week. You don’t have to join every session, but I hope you’ll find them valuable and you’ll decide you want to anyway. <3

  • The opportunity to write in community and be inspired by others gathering with the same purpose

  • A virtual space you can connect to from anywhere in the world

About Me, Your Host

My name is Diane Roberson Douiyssi, and I’m a writer, intuitive guide and owner of Inner Wisdom Wayfinding. I help women learn to listen to and follow their inner wisdom so they can find their creative voice and make their way back home.

I’m a lifelong writer who, having discovered the richness of reflective writing, uses it daily to access my inner guidance and to suffuse my writing, business and life with spirit. I’ve written a poetry collection and the first draft of my novel; I’ve been published in several professional and consumer publications.

Previously, I worked for 15 years in the corporate world, most recently as Director, Content Marketing in Global Marketing & Communications where I wrote professionally, consulted and led workshops. I’ve lived across the globe and am currently settled in the Midwest, close to the earth and peoples that nourish the world.

By clicking this button, you’ll go to a page on my scheduling application where you can review the event days and times and, if you wish, sign up.

When you sign up, you’ll receive the meeting information as well as how to prepare for the session, plus you’ll regularly receive additional content, events and writing-related articles and inspiration from me.

Please know that I’ll never share your email with anyone else. Ever. And, if you no longer find what I send to be useful, you can always unsubscribe at any time.
