I’ve been a writer my whole life, but I never wrote poems much. I always thought there was a set of mysterious rules I’d never learned that you had to follow in order to write poetry, real poetry. It’s only been lately, when I sit down at the page, seeking to express some sort of deeper, inner truth, that the words have formed themselves into poems as they spilled on the page. And that I’ve gained the courage to share them here with you.

I invite you to take these in, sit with them, and see what stirs inside your soul in response.

Only from the heart can you touch the sky.
