Whenever you’re ready, please join a cowriting session. I host those Monday through Friday at 10:00 a.m. Central Time in the U.S. (Find your time zone here).

Here’s how the cowriting sessions work

  • At the start, we will take a minute or two to we share (either live or in the chat) what we intend to work on that hour. This is just a little optional step that helps each of us set her intention for how we want to spend our time together.

  • Then I will offer an optional writing invitation (writing prompt) for you to jump start your writing session, if you like.

  • Then we go camera/mic off and write!’

  • I’ll call us all back together for a brief checkout a few minutes before the top of the hour.

  • If you need to join after the cowriting start time, that’s just fine. You can slip into the Zoom room and pop your video/microphone off and just jump into writing. I’ll have the writing prompt in the chat if I’ve finished the screen share.

The Zoom link for all cowriting sessions will be the same (workshops will be different.) There’s no need to sign up for individual cowriting sessions, just jump in and join using that link on the days that you can.

There are also two writing workshops a month. You’re on the mailing list for the studio, and you’ll receive information about the dates/times of upcoming workshops. Those will have a separate sign up process to help with planning and timing.

Extra note on cowriting sessions

You do not have to attend every day unless you want to. When setting this up I was aware people have appointments, obligations, jobs, things! so there is no feeling bad if you can’t make all or even most of the times.  Being in the energy of this amazing community will feed you in-between writing times. Coming every day is great; coming as often as you can and want to is just as great.

This is your studio to make how you want to support you and your writing best.
