Five articles on bringing your creative work into the world and finding home
As we start fresh into a new calendar year, I've been thinking about the journey to find our way back home. What I know for sure is that it involves, at least in part, us finding a way to bring our creative gifts into the world. That journey is sacred: from the beginning stirrings or recognition that you have something you want to bring to life, to knowing your calling and stepping out to move toward toward answering it.
To help you start the year, I'm sharing my five most-read blog posts from last year. A note - while many speak to writing as a creative act, if writing isn’t the primary way you love to create, the foundational principles apply to any creative journey – whether that be of an artist, a quilt maker, a creative entrepreneur, or someone simply dedicated to bringing her creativity to the forefront of her life.
I think you’ll find they contain fresh perspectives, insight, and calls to heed your own inner wisdom. If you’ve already read some, or even all of them, thank you! And I invite you to visit them again - maybe they'll offer a reminder or some additional insight for your journey.
